Hello Seattle!

last week vess and i were able to go to seattle for our friends scott and stefanies's wedding. the wedding was SO beautiful! everything went smoothly and they both looked amazing. we stayed at our friend joey's house along with vess' parents and our friends james and kylie. we had so much fun going to all of the wedding events, visiting down town seattle, and seeing all of our friends. i love weddings and i can't wait for james and kylie's!

Getting Inked at Glennwood Springs

I almost forgot the most important part of our trip to Colorado! I got Vess' name permanently tattooed on my shoulder! I have been trying to figure out a way to show him how much I love him, and when I saw the tattoo parlor I knew that was what I had been looking for. Vess loved it, and even shed a few tears when he saw it. He is going to get one as well on his lower back for our one year anniversary.

Ok, so that was all a lie, but I did get an airbrush tattoo which I think is just as good! I was really nervous that he wouldn't like it, but we were both very pleased with the results. :)

I did it!

I realize that this post has been a little delayed... but I just wanted you all to know that I LIVED! It was close, but thanks to a lot of prayer, and our trusty guide Mathew Mcconaughey (see picture) I made it out alive. Also, we weren't able to do the scariest part of the rapid because it had rained a lot the previous week so the water was too high and the rapids were too intense. Needless to say, my prayers were answered and vess, scott, james, and stefanies were not. :) I really did have a lot of fun though, and would probably so it again if had to.

Awaitinng My Fate

so, i know i haven't been the best blogger in the world and i am really regretting it now because tomorrow may be my last day on this earth. vess, scott, and james have somehow convinced me to go white water rafting with them, but not just any white water rafting, the GAUNTLET. yes, you heard me right, the GAUNTLET. the gauntlet has claimed many souls and i feel as though i will be its next victim. so here i sit, at the alps motel, awaiting my fate. I would really appreciate it if you would all help take care of vess and joey, but especially joey. they mean the word to me and need to know they are in good hands.
i want to apologize for being such a poor blogger for all of these months. I hope you can all forgive me and i want you all to come to my funeral, even though the casket will be empty because i will be rolling in the waves.
i love you all and will see you all in heaven.
